We are back for
YEAR 3
(Continued)

Spring Break, we went to
Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida.  Yes, we went to see Mickey Mouse. Wilderness Lodge, was a great place to stay.  It was very busy but we had a BIG LEARNING - Get up early. Jake and Sara were able to ride Expedition Everest 5 times before 10:00 on one of the busiest days of the year because we were there when the park opened.

Highlights: Soarin', eating at La Cellier Steakhouse, Turtle Talk with Crush, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Expedition Everest and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

For the Corpus Cristi break the family enjoyed
London.  London is great but you must never ever do the math and determine how much it is costing you.

Thursday - Lisa and Sara go shopping.  Seeing London from the London Eye. Haircuts at Eveda. (We never have our hair cut in Germany)  That night it was off to the West End for the Theatre - Lisa and Sara saw Mary Poppins, they enjoyed it.  Jake and I saw Lord of the Rings - it was interesting.  The show does give you a lot to talk about and nothing beats dancing Hobbits.

Friday - We saw the sights from The Big Bus. We did tour St. Paul's, had the best bacon sandwich at My Team Room, then went to Madame Tussaud's.  That night we ate above the River Thames at the OXO Tower.

Saturday - A walking tour of past the royal palaces and watching the dress rehearsal of Trooping the Colour.  Lunch at the Texas Embassy a walk down Whitehall past number 10.  We had Tea with the DeAngles's, very enjoyable and finally we went throught the Star Wars exhibit.

Before leaving for the Summer we made a quick trip to
Paris for the weekend.  Jacob and I went to a Golden Leage Track meet at Stade de France.  We saw the American Alan Webb run a 3:40 1500m the best time this year.  We also had the best hot dog ever, the reason, the bun was a wonder soft French baquette.

Lisa and Sara used their time in Paris to shop and eat very expensive food.  Look for this years Christmas card, it was taken on this trip.

Summer trip to the US -
Yes, our summer pilgramage to the land of late night shopping, large meals and english movies.

On the way into the country we stopped by Syracuse for Jake's first university visit.

Off to Potsdam for Lisa's 20th Clarkson Reunion.  A very nice time in the North Country with the double expresso the highlight.

Cincinnati was soccer camps, shopping, movies, shopping, eating, shopping and eating.  The highlight being our 2nd annual party.  A great opportunity to catch up with Cincinnati people and visit with the returning FIS people.

On the way out of the country was a quick trip to visit Maria in the Big Apple.  In two days we did the Circle Line cruise around Manhatten, Blue Man Group, good meals, lots of chololate.
